Next year sees the re-instatement of the successful Bury St. Edmunds Fringe Festival, running from May 1st to 14th 2010, in and around Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
I've been asked to contribute something and we already have a few ideas on what we might be able to bring to the stage in the form of original music. Of course, given my background, it will be electronic but hopefully with a twist.
Watch this space for more details. In the meantime, please visit the Fringe website and blog for more details and info on the festival as a whole. You can also follow them on Twitter. Contact Claire Lowe at

Well, hello there....
So, here it is. The first proper Failed Muso website. It's been a long time coming, but I got quite lazy relying on places like Facebook, YouTube and MySpace to provide me with web exposure. So when my hand was forced to go and find some webspace of my own, I bit the proverbial bullet and bought up some virtual real estate, along with the all important .com domain name and, well, here it is.
As we say in the software development world, this site is version 0.1 alpha. Lots will change, I can be sure of that, as I find my feet and decide on the best way to provide you, the viewer, with a pleasing experience and me with a suitable shop window for my musical efforts.
So, take a look around and let me know what you think. All constructive critique will be taken on board. If you find anything that doesn't work do let me know by contacting me at

By now, you should be aware of Spotify, the streaming music service taking the world by storm. If not, check them out at http://www.spotify.com
Once you have it installed, whether you went for the free option or the subscribed option, you can check out a bunch of playlists I have put together for it...
